A “Soup Night" will be hosted by Mount Shasta Friends of Tibetan Culture. This event is to honor a high-level Tibetan-born Nyingma Scholar, The Venerable Nyichang Khentrul Rinpoche. As a senior consultant to younger scholars, he is currently in California to translate and interpret rare Tibetan texts. While visiting Mount Shasta this month, he’s agreed to present a short talk about his female mentor, the famous Shungsep Jetsun Lochen Rinpoche, who recognized him as a tulku (reincarnation) of Buddha Vajra. Homemade vegetarian soup with various breads will be served before the talk followed by a Question and Answer session.

Soup will be served at 6pm; His Talk will begin at 6:30pm.

The cost is $10.00.
Separate “Love Donations” to the Rinpoche for his dharma projects are welcome.
